March 2: Today I am grateful for a happy and healthy little girl. She had her 8 week vaccinations yesterday and after sleeping for most of the afternoon, she woke at 730pm screaming inconsolably. I think this was extra hard for us because she really doesn't cry much, and certainly not like that. She's more like herself today, just a bit chucky. So good to see her smile back.

March 1: Today I am grateful for baby Panadol and the maternal child health hotline. Vaccinations really suck.
Hello Autumn!
Summer has passed and the first of March has arrived, bringing Autumn with it.
It's almost as if the weather knows the calendar too. It's quite fresh out today. The sky is covered by a blanket of white and grey cloud, keeping the blue beneath hidden from the cold. And the rain's been falling too!
Tilly has pulled out her brown velour trackies for the first time and has paired them with a favourite bonds onesie. Mummy needs to see her in that onesie a few more times before she grows out of it!
I love autumn. I think it's probably my favourite season. The mild days and cooler nights. The colours changing. Mind you, if I lived in Europe I think I'd love the Spring most. The flowers there were outstanding!

February 29: Today I am grateful for an extra day of the year!
That Tilly slept through the night again (from 12:30 to 6:45) and then napped beautifully through the day.
For a lovely morning walk up to the cafe for a catch up with mums group.
It was great to talk to Kat on the phone during the walk. (what's sweeter in thr photo- tilly or the banana bread?)
For a yummy dinner and good conversation with our small group tonight. I am grateful got these new communities in our lives.

Rain
How wonderful is this cool change? I'm sitting in dim light just now feeding Tilly for bed and it is so relaxing to hear the rain falling. Hitting to roof. Dripping and dropping over leaves and onto the dirt and lawn. Each drop sounds its own note depending on where it lands. So lovely.

February 27: Today I have been in a bit of a funk, but I am still grateful.
Grateful for some time with my sister in law today. That I managed to do some scrapbooking and that we could get to the shops for sushi and a coffee.
I'm glad for the Big W manager who refunded the 10x15 inch photo that u didn't mean to order! I nearly cried when I saw it there, huge! I even rechecked the order before paying because it seemed expensive. Any hoo, I am grateful for the refund!
And I really should be grateful that tilly slept through for the first time last night. :)

February 26: Today I am grateful for my church and excited about where we are heading In the next few years.
I am also grateful for the date that Tobes and I had at Koko Black. An amazing afternoon tea was shared- I'm not sure it's somewhere we should go often! We don't really go out to coffee or eat much (at all) so it was a fun treat that we should get into the habit of... minus the copious calories we ingested!
